Riptide Music Festival will take place rain or shine. Please plan your attire & arrangements for a festival on the sand. If there are severe weather circumstances, we may postpone, evacuate, or cancel the event.
By purchasing a ticket to Riptide, you agree to submit to a thorough search, including emptying your pockets and bags, having all of your items examined, and a full pat-down. A search will be done at the entrance gate prior to entry. There is no re-entry once admitted to the festival. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.
You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags and prohibited items at home. Any prohibited item that is confiscated will not be held or returned.
Please respect our city & respect Fort Lauderdale Beach. Please pick up any trash you come across and limit any plastic you bring to the beach. Be smart, be aware of your surroundings, and please remember to drink responsibly.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for drug use and possession. Police officers will be working inside and outside of the festival, and all narcotics laws will be strictly enforced. Be responsible and make smart Riptide choices!

We welcome everyone to Riptide Music Festival! We strive to make our beach environment accessible to our guests with disabilities & all music lovers. Riptide will feature accessible restrooms and other amenities, as well as designated areas for wheelchair users and their companions. Q: What time does Riptide start & end each day?
A: Saturday & Sunday will be full days of music! Saturday gates open at 11am, gates close at 10pm. Sunday gates open at 11am, gates close at 9pm. Times are subject to change.
Q: Will set times get posted in advance?
A: Yes, set times will be available the week of the festival. Stay tuned for 2019!
Q: Is there a lost and found?
A: Yes! Please call our radio station offices for any lost and found items. Our number is 305-521-5100. We are open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. Our address is: 8300 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33138.
Q: Can I see a festival map ahead of time?
A: Yes. A 2019 updated map showing our stage locations, food, bathrooms, etc will be available soon.
Q: Where is the closest airport?
A: The nearest airport is Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), 320 Terminal Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.
Q: Is re-entry allowed?
A: No, there is no re-entry once admitted into the festival.
Q: What is the camera policy?
A: Professional photographers must obtain a photo pass using our media submission form. Professional video cameras are not permitted.

Q: Is there access to the ocean?
A: No, Riptide Music Festival attendees will not be allowed to enter the ocean while inside our festival grounds.
Q: Is the Riptide Music Festival area handicap accessible?
A: Yes, there is an accessible viewing area and handicap bathrooms.
Q: Can I volunteer to work Riptide?
A: We do not accept volunteers. However, you can apply to work Riptide Music Festival, as a paid Part-Time Promotions Assistant for our radio stations here.
Q: What’s Included in VIP?
A: Expedited VIP Entrances, VIP raised viewing area, full, dedicated cash bars offering signature cocktails, air-conditioned VIP restrooms, unlimited, free bottles of water, Tito’s Handmade Vodka FREE Braid Bar, additional seating, and areas to refresh and rehydrate.
Q: Will there be ATM machines?
A: Yes, ATMs will be available inside the Riptide Music Festival grounds. Locations will be marked on the festival map.
Q: Do you have Hotel suggestions?

Q: Will any roads be closed?
A: Nope, no roads will be closed.
Q: Will there be food and drink available for purchase?
A: Yes! There will be plenty of food and drink options in our #BiteMe Food Court. We will also have vegetarian and vegan options available.
Q: Are kids allowed?
A: Absolutely! The Riptide Music Festival is All Ages. Plus, all kids 2 and under get in for FREE! Any child over the age of 2 will require a regular purchased ticket.
Q: Is there seating at the festival?
A: There are no seats at the festival, but you are allowed to bring your own beach blankets, towels and low-rise beach chairs. There is a designated Chair Zone where you will be allowed to set up your chairs for the day.
Q: Will There be Meet & Greet Opportunities with the Riptide Bands?
A: Yes! As we get closer to Riptide 2019, visit 104.3TheShark.com for details on how you can win a chance to meet the Riptide bands.
Q: What’s the bad weather policy?
A: Riptide Music Festival will go on rain or shine! However, if there are severe weather circumstances, we may postpone, evacuate, or cancel the event.
Q: Can I park my boat in the ocean or anchor off-shore?
A: There will be NO boat anchoring offshore of the Riptide Music Festival. There are protected coral reefs. Please if you are coming by boat, reach out to the local marinas for assistance with docking. The offshore area will be heavily patrolled to prevent boats from anchoring.
